Millat Tractors has announced the temporary shutdown of its production facility due to reduced demand, cash flow constraints and lower output

The company noted that the past few months have seen a decrease in orders, leading to decreased resource utilization and output. This has caused cash flow constraints for Millat Tractors, leading it to suspend production until such time as demand recovers or new business opportunities are identified. 

The decision will affect employees who rely on regular income from the plant but is expected to benefit Millat Tractors in the longer term. Steps are being taken by management including reducing expenditure, renegotiating supplier contracts and increasing efficiency measures in order to ensure that operations can quickly be resumed once demand improves. Customers may experience delays in shipment times due to reduced availability of Millat Tractor products during this period.
